Located in the historic Chicken Bristle area of Lincoln County, Kentucky, the farm has been providing the local community, fine area restaurants and farmers' markets with organically-raised asparagus, pastured pork and poultry and grass-fed lamb and beef since 2005.
Lynn and Michael, the farm's owners, believe that pastured animals live happier, healthier and less stressful lives that yields better tasting and healthier meat for their customers. Animals receive no hormones or antibiotics. All animals raised on the farm have continuous access to fresh water, fresh air and fresh pasture.
The farm also has a full acre of asparagus raised without pesticides or herbicides. Asparagus is typically available from March until June. Other produce, like peas, beans, lettuces, herbs and squash are sold on an as-available basis.
